Winter 2024-25 Jr. Hoopsters

Our GVBL Jr Hoopsters basketball program is for pre-school aged (4-5 year olds) girls and boys. It will expose the kids to the wonderful and exciting game of basketball. Kids will be doing fun drills that includes dribbling, shooting and passing. It will be non-competitive and just fun for everyone! All players will receive a jersey.

We are sure your little hoopster is chomping at the bit to begin their season! As we do each year, we get the 1st through 8th grade kids - about 700 this year - up and running in October/November. Our Jr. Hoopsters program gets started in December.

2024-2025 GVBL Jr Hoopsters will be held on these early Sunday afternoons:

• December 8th,15th & 22nd
• January 5th,12th &19th

We are still working out the details of game times and courts at our new GVCO Community Center. Once determined, we will be sending out another Constant Contact the week of November 25th.

Players should come in gym shorts and sneakers. Coaches will hand out GVBL jerseys at the first session. The only other things they need are a smile and a desire to learn how to play basketball!

Kindergarteners will have their own division in Winter GVBL.

Basketball Registration for all Divisions Opens Sept. 15th

Jr. Hoopsters sessions will tentatively be held in December and January.
