GVCO Caring Hands is starting its 2nd decade of Community Service!
for the 2024-2025 school year.
Caring Hands newsletters and event updates will be sent via Constant Contact to the submitted email addresses for both parent and student. Returning volunteers still need to signup for the 2024-2025 school year. Volunteers can sign up for as many events and shifts as they'd like.
The signup form asks for parent(s) email addresses but parents can add themselves to the Caring Hands 2024-2025 school year Constant Contact list.
Home of the Sparrow
For 30 years, Home of the Sparrow has been helping helps single women, mothers, and their children facing homelessness secure housing and achieve long-term stability. GVCO is collecting household cleaning and personal care items to support this wonderful cause.
Drop off donations at GVCO, 51 N. Bacton Hill Rd., Malvern through December 8th.
Holiday Gift Wrapping - Dec. 8th
Caring Hands volunteers will wrap presents for local senior citizens. GVCO will take the presents to senior citizen organizations for distribution at their holiday parties. More details are available on the sign up form.

Cradles to Crayons Drive
Thank you so much for your incredible generosity in donating clothing to our 6th Annual Cradles to Crayons drive! We were able to collect over 40 bags of donations. Your contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of children in need. We are truly grateful for your support and commitment to helping those in need!
Caring Hands volunteers at Charlestown Day 2024
GVCO Caring Hands volunteers helped prepare the new field adjacent to the GVCO Community Center. The student volunteers spent Sunday afternoon raking, shoveling, and hauling rocks from the field space. The field will be over-seeded this fall and it will be nice and green for spring programming.

Maddy Camp - 2024 Caring Hands Scholarship Recipient
Maddy Camp served as in GVCO intern for the GVHS Cooperative Education program for the 2023-2024 school year. During that time, Maddy served as the point person for Caring Hands and community based programs and events. She provided planning and administrative support for the various Caring Hands events during the year. She will attend Penn State University this Fall.
We would like to thank Maddy for her service, hard work and leadership. Congratulations!
Caring Hands Helping Local Families
"For several years Caring Hands of GVCO has contributed generously to Great Valley students and families in need in a variety of ways. They donated thousands of dollars in gift cards for groceries and children’s holiday gifts and even helped families pay bills during especially difficult times.
