Caring Hands Community Work Day @ GVCO March 30th, Noon - 2PM
Spring is here and GVCO needs Caring Hands volunteers on Sunday, March 30th to help with mulching, edging, and weeding outside of the GVCO Community Center. Parent volunteers are also welcomed to help.

East Whiteland Egg Hunt @ Immaculata Univ. April 19th 9AM-12:30PM
13 volunteers are needed on April 19th for East Whiteland's Egg Hunt at Immaculata University, 1145 W. King Rd., Malvern.
Volunteers will disperse eggs, direct guests, keep participants in the egg hunt zone, pickup and cleanup of eggs afterwards. Volunteers will work from 9AM-12:30PM.
All volunteers will be treated to ice cream of their choosing from Scoops 'N Smiles.

SPCA Walk for Paws April 26th, 10AM - 1PM at West Goshen Comm. Park
GVCO is a vendor at the annual Walk 4 Paws! We will need volunteers to bake homemade items and drop them off at GVCO Friday, April 25th (worth 2 hours of volunteer time) and the other volunteers will sell the items at a table on Saturday, April 26th. All proceeds will go back to the dogs at the SPCA!

Sow Good Now
Sow Good Now is collecting new or like new sweatshirts for youth and young adults. Donate sweatshirts from your favorite school, college or team! Sow Good Now aims to build community by bringing student athletes together with youth from underserved areas. They inspire athletic communities to seek out ways to meaningfully serve the underserved and increase their impact.
In Ian's Boots
GVCO collected adults' and children's gently used shoes, winter boots, or cleats. The shoes will be going to In Ian’s Boots, an organization dedicated to donating footwear to those in need.
Care Kits
Caring Hands volunteers assembled lots of personal care kits for the homeless in our area. The local non-profit Better Days Ahead will distribute them to those in need around Phoenixville, Pottstown and Norristown.
GVCO Caring Hands is starting its 2nd decade of Community Service!
for the 2024-2025 school year.
Caring Hands newsletters and event updates will be sent via Constant Contact to the submitted email addresses for both parent and student. Returning volunteers still need to signup for the 2024-2025 school year. Volunteers can sign up for as many events and shifts as they'd like.
The signup form asks for parent(s) email addresses but parents can add themselves to the Caring Hands 2024-2025 school year Constant Contact list.
