INTERNSHIPS
High School Internship

GVCO employs several high school juniors and seniors to assist with programming and administrative responsibilities. Internships last throughout the school year. Hours would be after school, 3pm and 5pm Mondays through Fridays. 2 to 5 hours per week. GVCO will work with you to create flexible scheduling around academic responsibilities and other extra-curricular activities. Compensation will be $12.00 per hour.

GVHS Cooperative Education Internship

The GVHS Cooperative Education Internship is an option for seniors with enough credits to attend school for only part of the day. Internships and students are subject to the rules of Great Valley High School and governmental agencies. Cooperative Education interns will assist with various programming, marketing and administrative responsibilities. The internship will last throughout the school year and compensation will be $15.00 per hour. Interns will be expected to work approximately eight (8) hours per week from September 2026 through early May 2027. For more information about the internship, send an email to [email protected].

Summer College Internships – Rising College Juniors or Seniors Preferred
The Great Valley Community Organization (“GVCO”) is a local community organization serving the Great Valley School District and surrounding townships. We serve the youth, adults and seniors in this region through many programs, events, presentations and performances.

GVCO is looking for two self-motivated individuals interested in assisting our organization with its summer programming. The ideal candidates should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be able to work in a team environment, and enjoy working with youth. The candidates should have a background or interest in athletics, an understanding of scheduling, and budgetary/finance capabilities.
- Starts early June until mid-August
- Internship I – 40 hours per week; Monday through Thursday 12PM – 10PM
- Internship II – 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday typically 8AM – 5PM
