Great Valley Crew Team is a competitive rowing team, comprised of male and female athletes in grades 7-12. strives to not only develop young adults in the sport of rowing, but to build character through the challenges of victory and defeat; to promote community through the responsibility of teamwork and sportsmanship; and to achieve personal excellence through the values of dedication, determination and hard work.

The Fall Flag Football League is for boys and girls in grades K – 4.

The Great Valley Flag Program is designed to introduce younger children to the sport, teach very basic fundamentals and most of all to have fun playing flag football. Teams will be rostered by GVSD elementary school and grade so kids can play with their classmates.

The Great Valley Basketball League is a youth basketball program designed for children within the Great Valley School District and surrounding communities in grades PreK-12th. Our programs are built around learning, fun and community. GVBL is a 100% volunteer run organization. Players of all abilities are welcome. GVBL hosts recreational leagues in the winter and summer. We also have a tournament team program for athletes who seek a more competitive environment. The vision of GVBL is to create a fun experience for the kids playing and learning the game of basketball, while competing with their peers from the surrounding community. Since its inception is 2001, GVBL has helped thousands of children learn and love the game of basketball while developing lifelong friendships.

The mission of the Great Valley Basketball League (“GVBL”) Tournament Team Program is to provide the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of basketball at a highly competitive level. This program develops and improves individual and team skills, promotes good sportsmanship and team spirit. By providing players with additional exposure to the game of basketball, it enhances their opportunity to play at the junior high and high school level. A high degree of ethical conduct is required from all coaches, players, volunteers and parents so that it provides a good example for the community and other teams. GVBL operates Tournament Team Programs for boys and girls in grades 4 – 8.

Tournament team seasons generally begin at the end of October. The tournament team season runs for the ensuing 12 months, culminating on the following September 30th. The tournament team season will vary depending on player and coaching interest and commitment.

Our Jr Hoopsters basketball program is for pre-school aged (4-5 year olds) girls and boys. It will expose the kids to the wonderful and exciting game of basketball. Kids will be doing fun drills that includes dribbling, shooting and passing. It will be non-competitive and just fun for everyone! All players will receive a jersey.

Players should come in gym shorts and sneakers. Coaches will hand out GVBL jerseys at the first session. The only other things they need are a smile and a desire to learn how to play basketball!
