Congratulations to members of the Great Valley Fire tournament team in their recent team championship in the
Junior Varsity division at the Athletes for Better Education team camp recently held at Kutztown University. This team of rising
9th graders were coached by GVBL and GVCO founder Keith Walsh and went 14-1 to win the championship of their 12 team pool.
Opponents consisted on rising 9th and 10th graders from high school teams throughout the east coast.
Members of the championship team included: Jake Prevost, Max Guistwhite, James Taiariol, Gavin Frankenheimer, Alex Capitano,
Philip Wellener and Buck Walsh.

This past January our GVCO Caring Hands Foundation
raised just under $2500.00 for needy families within the
Great Valley Community. As is the case with most communities, there are a number of families right here in Great Valley in
Need of assistance with necessities like food, clothing and heat. The Caring Hands Foundation "Needy Families Campaign" was
organized by the foundations student senior leadership board who is working directly with the social services department at the GVSD.
The GVBL Center and Great Valley Community Center are entities of The Great Valley Community Organization
("GVCO") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the taxcode provided by the Internal Revenue Service.
The purpose of GVCO includes providing multi-use indoors facilities for community activities, focusing on youth athletics,
