Winter GVBL basketball is closed for boys and girls in grades 1st through 8th. To be added to the waitlist, email Gary Taiariol at with your child's gender, school and grade.

The fee is $140 for registrations received before or on Oct. 7th. After which, there is a $25 late fee. Registration for our High School division will begin in late October.

Key dates:
October 22nd - Late registration closes. Wait listing of players begin
October 17th - October 26th - Player skills assessments
October 29 - 30 - Teams selected by coaches
November 5th - Meet your teammates and Uniform handout day
Week of November 7th - Practices begin
November 11th - 13th - First games.

Junior Hoopsters is a program designed to introduce pre-K and kindergarten (4-6 year olds) girls and boys to the game of basketball. GVBL will teach the kids the basic fundamentals of the game through fun drills and games. The cost is $75 per session. More info about Jr. Hoopsters and registration is open!.

Two 6 week 1.25 hour sessions are available:
Week of Dec. 4th through the week of Jan. 22nd
Week of Jan. 29th through the week of Mar. 5th

Three time slots are available for each session:
Tuesdays 10AM - 11:15AM
Tuesdays 1PM - 2:15PM
Thursdays 1PM - 2:15PM

Challenger Gym is an after school program for Great Valley students of all ages who need a fun, non-competitive alternative to traditional community sports. Each high school volunteer is paired with a student. As a high school buddy, you would help your student participate in different games each week. Sessions will be held on Weds. in November and December. More details, dates and times

At our April 2016 GVCO Board meeting, both Muriel Kennedy - Director, Surrey Services for Seniors and Denise Kerns - Director of GV Crew program, were nominated for inclusion on our GVCO Board of Directors.
