WINTER BASKETBALL
Basketball season is right around the corner and the Great Valley Basketball League (GVBL) is now accepting registrations for our 2014/2015 season for boys and girls in grades 1 through 8. Cost is $135 per player for all those who register by October 5th. We will be accepting both paper and electronic registrations during this period. Electronic registration is our preferred method!

TOURNAMENT TEAMS COACHES NEEDED
Coaches are needed for the 4th grade girls and 4th grade boys tournament teams. Those interested should complete a questionnaire and return it to Jerry Corrigan, Tournament Program Coordinator at jerry991@verizon.net.

SAVE THE DATE - OCTOBER 11, 2014 - Steps4Hope 5K Run/Walk!
The Steps4Hope 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday October 11, 2014 at Ridley Creek State Park and will benefit a Great Valley High School student scholarship. The Jonathan Moules Memorial Steps4Hope Foundation was founded in memory of Great Valley High School graduate Jonathan (Jon) Moules, who lost his battle with the disease of addiction on January 7, 2014. The Steps4Hope Foundation supports important local programs providing resources and assistance to those struggling with addiction. THE FIRST RUNNIFER EVENT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!
Over 800 runners and walkers participated in the first Runnifer on Sunday September 14, 2014. The event was a tremendous display of community support. Additional information on the Jennifer Stagnaro Memorial Fund information is available at www.TheRunnifer.com. Donations can be made below.

GVBL AND THE GVBL CENTER
The Great Valley Basketball League is designed to be an instructional youth basketball league for kids within the Great Valley School District, serving the 1st through the 12th grades. The purpose of the program is to create a fun experience for the kids, playing and learning the game of basketball, while competing within their peers from the surrounding community. The GVBL Center is located at 19 North Bacton Hill Rd, Malvern, PA, near the intersection of Bacton Hill and Swedesford Rd.

The GVBL Center and Great Valley Community Center are entities of The Great Valley Community Organization ("GVCO") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the taxcode provided by the Internal Revenue Service. The purpose of GVCO includes providing multi-use indoors facilities for community activities, focusing on youth athletics, senior citizen activities and to further community, recreational, charitable and educational programs and events.
